Just an experiment to see the pulling power of Bachmann Thomas, Henry and Gordon.
The Bachmann Thomas range has been criticized a lot for their poor strength and weight so this was just a test to see how many of my coaches currently out on the layout, they could hull.
I don't make my locos usually pull trains this long as my layout is way too small and it would look a bit stupid. This was just an experiment.
I will admit, my other non-Thomas locos (Bachmann, Mainline, Hornby) have a greater power and can pull a heavy train with ease except for Bachmann Gordon. He isn't as heavy but he can easily pull just as much with good speed.
In a way the Bachmann Thomas range seem a bit 'oddly' realistic. There is no way a small tank engine (Thomas or Percy) could pull a heavy long train like a Black 5 or A3 (Henry or Gordon).
The Bachmann Thomas range, well my locos at least, have the best connectors/pick ups out of all my models by far! (Especially Thomas) I can run them over a set of points at all speeds, even extremely slow (we're talking about being overtaken by a snail slow) without a problem. My Hornby's always stall on the points frogs.
Has anyone had trouble with Henry's front bogey derailing at all? Mine the front wheel always seems to jump the rail on corners and I'm not quite sure why as Gordon is perfectly fine.
@thomasandfriends1000 As he should be.

I have had the EXACT same problem with Henry's front bogey. On some of them for whatever reason the connector or the mount is warped. Mine was made worse by a fall. Try bending it, that fixed mine. And you're on about the strength. Thomas is a fairly strong tank engine, but nowhere near the same category as a Black 5 or an A1. Your Henry seems to be weak, he should be just as strong as Gordon (Same chassis and motor). They're good.
