Simon: His first time at the dog beach :) Mar 16, 2011 5:34 PM

This was the first time in his life at the dog's beach. This video is of his first 5 minutes there. Still not sure about the water and looking at dogs from far away.

I was afraid he wouldn't like the water (since he stays as away as possible from the hose and the shower), he would pick a fight, or he would somehow misbehave.
We took my mom also. So I was afraid she was going to get bored.
I was wrong!
We had a lot of fun.
At the beggining he got in the water just because I was there, looking at me with his face like "what are you doing??? this water is cold!!" But after a little, he was chasing his own waves and getting in the water on his own.
He made a bunch of new friends, and a beautiful pit bull girlfriend, Cali.
He also sat down on top of the cutest bulldog.
The whole time, my mom was taking pictures with her phone, and getting dogs jumping on her lap all day.
We all came back home happy and tired, and looking forward to our next time at the beach. :)

Note: Simon is a rescued dog. Great dogs are waiting for a chance to have a new family and especially to live. Before you get a dog, visit some shelters and see if someone catches your eye and your heart. Make sure it is the right breed for you and your family. Once you have that special one, don't abandon him/her.
