I eventually defeated him as Squall. Though in 012, I plan on trying to use Cecil against him, since I've now leveled him up a little more than in this game. He's becoming one of my best characters to use. Paladin Force is one of my favourite attacks, I admittedly tend to spam it during battles as opponents are helpless when they're caught by it.

I can't wait to utterly pwn Chaos with it.
