I live in CA and understand how this catastrophe will affect the entire nation, as you have expressed. For over a month now, I have brought this up in conversation, and my words have been rebuked. There appears to be alot of tone-deaf leadership and general population, who lack clear vision and seem to enjoy minimizing the situation. After many sleepless nights, I have concluded that people hear what they want to hear, until it impacts them directly.
