i think this version looks crazier and more realistic. in the one they actually used it seemed like everyone is waiting to say his lines or to hear other people speak, while in this one everything is more alive, because all of them talk at the same time.

the second season will start airing on ooctober 1, 2008. and the dvd's will be out on september 16, 2008

Wopwoman, the version they decided to use was the one with Nick's mum leaving... I guess they want to bring her back at some point ^^

lauramacliver- Here 2 versions were showed. It showed her dead in the bathtub with her arm hanging over the edge. Then it showed her leaving in a cab,because Dutch was always working and putting the darlings first.I was wondering if Nick has ever talked about his mom and what happened to her?

in the one i watched...in the uk... she left because Dutch (Nick's Dad) spent all his time at work.

Ever notice there are 2 different versions of what happened to Nicks mother. One has her dead from suicide in the bathtub, the other shows his mother saying goodbye and leaving in a cab? So which version did the show decide to use? Has his mother ever been mentioned? Has Nick ever mentioned his mother?
