Trigger help u for shure,and it's not cheating.
I always play like 1 hour with triggers and 1 hour without on 2 hrs daily practice.
Tight Spring,so u need force,and i've also set my dm10,like,if the stroke is too soft,no sound comes out,keep distance between beater and head....and it's not cheating :D
In ur first comment it's like saying Trey Williams is not a good drummer

@Fuck1nMetal If you want a good kick sound tune your bass drum properly, And as for my feet.....Im up to 250 bpm ,16th's with FULL power, no need for triggers? No need to start getting personal, insulting me for expressing my opinion!! I would post a link to my bands live stuff so you can see for your self but you'd probably only slate it anyway whether you like it or not!!!

With Practice you reach this level.
Triggers grants a good kick sound and u can hear it.
If u want good kick sound without trigger use coins....but the beater rebound will be very difficult at very high speed.
Dont hate trigger if ur feet are fuckdup and cant use double bass correctly.

Triggers can easily be replaced with regular practice, no excuse!!!

I'm not a drummer, but I do know one thing, especially in death metal where everything needs to sound dialed solid triggers really aid in that and help me, as a guitar player, lock in with the bass drum live because they cut through the mix better, not to mention that playing with definition and volume at 230 bpm is ridiculously difficult without triggers. Different shit for different people.
