Kat sniffed the cookie and then threw the whole thing into her mouth. That made me happy, but I didn't know why...

*~*Next day*~*
-Jazz's POV-
My alarm went off and ran for the bathroom. I had had my alarm set for a half hour earlier than usual... Joe had warned me that he took FOREVER getting ready. I was done my shower within 10 minutes and I brushed my teeth before I even left the bathroom. I didn't want to have to wait if the bathroom was stolen while I was getting dressed. I wrapped my towel around myself and went to my room. It was the 2nd from the bathroom... the 1st was Joe's. I determinedly didn't look into his room... the door was open and I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I hurried past and finished getting ready. I walked out of my room 20 minutes later with my favorite black skinny jeans, a white shirt with colorful graffiti that said 'Peace, Love, Music, Art' It pretty much described my life.
"Morning!"
Joe: *looks up from his toast* Good morning.
"What time do we have to leave?"
Joe: *glances at the clock* 10 minutes. Want to call Regina and Aly to make sure they are up?
"Actually.. I already know they are. Regina texted me this morning while I was getting ready." There was a knock on the door. I probably should have asked first.....
Joe: *opens the door and sees Regina and Aly standing there*
"Hi guys! You don't mind... do you Joe? I mean.... We could take my car instead....."
Joe: No.. I don't mind. Come on in girls.
Regina: Thanks Joe! *walks right in and grabs a piece of toast.
Aly: *mumbles* Thanks.
I would have to try to get Aly to talk more. I mean... she was naturally pretty shy... but this was my new family and I knew she could be outgoing if I just broke her out of her shell. "I love your outfits!"
Regina: *in light blue jeans and a black V neck shirt with a pink rose design on the front and her hair pulled back in a bun* Thanks Jazz. So do you!
Aly: *in blue skinny jeans and a light blue shirt with a butterfly design in black on it. She had left her hair down* Thanks Jazz.
Joe: *glances at his watch* We're going to be late if he doesn't hurry up!
-End Jazz's POV-
-Nick's POV-
I woke a little late and just threw on some clothes. I glanced at my clock and saw I had about 10 minutes and hurried to grab all my books from around my room. I heard a knock at the door and was a little confused. Then I heard Jazz and Joe's voices.
Jazz: Hi guys! You don't mind do you Joe? I mean.... We could take my car instead.....
Joe: No.. I don't mind. Come on in girls.
Then I heard the voices of the girls I met last night. Aly and... and.... oops. Forgot her name. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs.
Joe: We're going to be late if he doesn't hurry up!
"Oh shush up Joe. You hogged the bathroom too long." Not really... but probably.
Joe: You never asked me to get out. But whatever... we got to get going or else we'll be stuck with a crappy parking spot.
We all went out to his car and I carefully situated my position so I was sitting next to Aly. She seemed pretty shy... but I wanted to get to know her better.
Joe: Nick? Is Jayme going to be riding with us today?
"Nah. She called last night to tell me she had something she had to do in the morning. So her mom is driving her."
Joe: Alright. *pulls out of the driveway*
I turned to Aly. "Good morning."
Aly: Morning. Do siblings ever get put in the same classes at this school?
"Yeah. happens a lot." That seemed to cheer her up. "Why?"
Aly: I want to have Regina in my classes again.
That's what her name is!
Regina: I'm sure you'd be able to survive Aly.
I remembered something Kat had said last night. "You guys are in my grade.. right?"
Regina and Aly: Yep.
"Cool" My spirits went up. I had a good chance of having Aly in my classes. It's such a small school....
Joe: Here we are. Ready girls?
Jazz: *jumps our of the passenger seat* We all still need schedules! And maps and everything! Ohhhh do we have enough time?
Joe: relax Jazz. Relax. We've got plenty of time.
I opened my door and then turned to Aly and held my hand out. She looked surprised, but took my hand and let me help her out of the car.
Aly: Thanks.
I smiled at her. "Welcome." Then she slipped her hand out of mine and slung her school bag over her shoulder. Regina jumped down and then closed the door and Joe led the way to the office. I hope Aly gets put in my classes! I would have more time to get to know her.
