I'm afraid that I still think I'm in the right on this one.. :D
There's more we havent heard, which was not mentioned in this clip - the guy called her 'deviant' and so on. And she wasnt (apparently) saying anything explicitly sexual.. he had no grounds to be upset with her mentioning her fiancee. Other than latent homophobia.
And just for the record, I never criticised him for being a Christian. Just for being a dick. Which he was.. :D

lol, did you even listen to the video? You start your commentary with "guy got fired for telling his co-worker that discussing her love life made him uncomfortable" IF that were the case you would have had a point, BUT that isn't what happened. The woman was discussing her upcoming nuptials with co-workers, and because the wedding happened to be to another female the bigot told her that the "gay lifestyle" was BAD/perverted. Try watching the video again, or look the story up, and read it.

Sorry, Your particular delusional flavour of a god, IS A PRICK. But hey, don't sweat it, i think genocidal, infantacidal meglomaniac are far more fitting, so being called a prick really is the least of his worries eh.

If I were YOU, Lucious, I would be very embarrassed indeed. The lady was engaged and happy to talk about getting married, just like any straight person would have been. The guy was clearly anti-gay and discriminatory towards her (where does he get off calling her fiance "so-called fiance", by the way ...) If he did not like what she was saying all he had to do was to remove himself from the conversation, not preach to her.

Well I disagree with you.
I know this is the reporter, not the guy, but the reporter lies twice in his opening statement.
Peter wasn't fired for his beliefs, and by his own admission he wasnt being "constantly bombarded" by her gay life style, it was a couple times, maybe 4, and it was about her fiance' not her running around fucking chicks.

Yeah sorry to say I too, disagree with you here. Of course he has the right to his opinion, but he has no right to criticize her home life, and make the work environment intolerable for her. I also doubt he is telling the full story, as he is clearly very bigoted. Why couldn't he do the "Christian" thing and turn the other cheek?

Personally I would have just kept my mouth shut with the facts that I have on hand of this case thus far.
He has the right to speak, yes. However, 3 points. 1st, that freedom is limited at work. You can't threaten a job unless they go on a date with you, for ex. 2nd, he was fired, not arrested. In many states, the employer has the right to fire anyone at any time for any reason (barring racism and such). Ethics aside, the employer has every right to fire him for saying the wrong thing at work. 3rd, we're only listening to Fox News' POV which we all know is never bias. There's likely more to it.

@Ripley747 I know. To understand you need to understand I was responding to bewarethelizards attitude that his "STILL THINKING HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG" after he was fired shows "HE HASN'T LEARNED HIS LESSON". That implies she believes he MUST change his opinion, that getting fired for thinking as most Christians think was RIGHT.

@Ripley747 THe real answer is he got fired because he's obviously a douche-bag that everyone hates and I'm just doing this to make interesting conversation illustrating the difficulty of determining what is just and right in a pluralistic environment.
Imagine a Christian dominated workplace and a Lesbian getting fired for talking about how Christians are jerks for not embracing homosexuality, it illustrates the dilemma. Who is right is decided by which view dominates. Real Justice is Blind
