How I tie up cables without twist ties

Just a little demonstration of how I tie up my cables without any extra help to keep them tied. Use your discretion when using different types of cables. Use it for storage or to shorten up existing cables. Choose a position on the cable where the knot will go and then loop it up. I suggest that the knot be on the end that's going to rest on something (like a shelf or desk surface) as the knot will add weight to the plug and that may wear out both the port and plug.
