I recently test drove one of these guitars, and was really impressed by the playability... The neck, the weight, ebony fretboard, the bridge is also really good for palm mutes, and I was able to coax harmonics out of it pretty much at will, but the one thing that I couldn't get was real bite nor any low end out of it from a high gain perspective.

I've read up on the guitar and company, and it might sound sac-religious to say this, but I want to hear this guitar with a JB/Jazz config.

Yea, it is. Ive been testing amps with my Taylor Custom and Standard. Been using a Mesa Boogie 5:25 but am not happy with the amount of clean headroom. Tried a Fender Hot Rod but didnt care for the muffled sound or the drive. STill experimenting. AC30 may be nice, marshall also.
