Poverty In Haiti English ISU Project

This was a ISU project I did for my English class. At 1st I didn't really take it seriously. I didn't know much about Haiti, all i knew was Wyclef Jean was born Haitian. But after I started doing the project & getting to know my topic I realized this was something that HAD to be addressed to the public & ppl need to be aware of what's going on. Haiti is a country in the caribbean which is considered to be in the American continent. This extreme poverty is happening not too far from us North Americans. Please spread the word, raise awareness, do whatever you can do to help.

Not to take from the tragedy but they threw ALL the whites out or butchered them and then banned them all from an absolute paradise in the 1800's so it gradually went to jungle in spite of America's help to rebuild it again in 1915 to 1934 and as soon as the US pulled out they returned to doing it their way again that is to say indolence. Again in 1958, remember Papa Doc ? then again it went down the toilet. It is and always will be a shit house while blacks govern themselves. SA beware !!

if u look at the causes of poverty in Haiti alot of it are caused by other countries & not cuz they are unable to govern themselves.

When Haiti finally gained Independence France refused to recognize Haiti's independence until it agreed to pay an indemnity of 150 million francs to compensate for the losses of French planters in the slave revolution. & there are also other causes such as Natural diseasters such as.. the earthquake a few weeks ago

@thePatnolan And the fact that Haitians wanted self-rule has exactly what to do with the fact that a few weeks ago an act of God killed hundreds of thousands of people there? Trying to make a connection? It might work for your brain dead racist ilk but thinking people don't buy it. Still not convinced about many successful black countries yet and I still live in Africa. I'm convinced of many successful black dictators though throughout this continent, but their own people are still starving. But nice to hear from you all again.

Seriously, France needs to re-colonize this place and help it out of its misery. Its a shame that they enjoy boasting to be the first nation in the western hemisphere to gain independence from slavery, and yet, after hundreds of yrs have nothing to show for it.
