How do you get there? I can UV map in Wings3D, get the map in Photoshop, edit, and put it back in Wings3D, but how do you do it in 3DS Max? Also, awesome model, especially the rendering.

To be honest, I forget how I got that initial color on there. I really don't UV much. It shouldn't be too different in Max than it is in Wings. Just check the help files, that pretty much all I do.

That was a pretty cool video. Was that a rig you used to make the teddy bear's body slump over? And that does kind of suck when you like 3/4 done with a model and it crashes and you're so into it you forget to save. DANGIT I HATE THAT lol it happens to me a lot too.

Thanks. I'm not sure if you could call it a rig, depends on your definition. I didn't really do anything beyond making the skeleton to bind hobbes to- no IK, nothing I would animate with.

hah, good question. His hair would take special consideration. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it, but I haven't had that driving force yet. Hobbes as a stuffed tiger, on the other hand, was something I'd wanted to see or create since I was a kid. Maybe in the future...
