Sims 3 - error code 12

I've been getting the "Error Code: 12" ever since I installed Generations and it's driving me

insane! I've been looking around for a 'cure', hopefully this will help you!

What I did when I had this ERROR 12. I just used "Save As.." Instead of Save.

i luv the accent. My Sims 3 Generations is working fine and i'm at the minimum system requirements

@nguyenam1 - I've got more than enough system to handle it, it doesn't matter though sadly. The game just kept taking up memories. It too until the 2nd generation of a large family before I had the bug occur. I hope it doesn't happen to you, just be careful! :D

I havn't played the sims 3 for over a year now (damn old computer just couldn't handle it) but if I ever do play it again(I hope so) I'm sure this will be very useful :) thank you

i have mods on my sims game but i have no idea how i put them on there. i'd like to comepletely get rid of the memories, i don't use them, but i don't know how to use the winrar thing for the mod. can you help?

luckily, My brothers computer, the one I use to play sims, has over 2 terabites :)
