18 year old Sam Scott Perry thoughts on Creationism. 21st November 2011 4ThoughtTV Channel 4.
With numbers of Creationists on the rise in this country, leading scientists have called for a ban on creationism in the British education system. 4thought.tv asks: 'should creationism be taught in schools?' Young Earth Creationist Sam Scott Perry believes the world is only between 6000 and 10,000 years old and that dinosaurs roamed the land with humans. Sam thinks creationism should be included in schools in order to allow children to make up their own mind.

  • If you want to learn science, go to school, if you want to be brainwashed, go to church.

It's sad that these kids are brainwashed by their parents from a young age and can't break away from the indoctrination. He actually believes the nonsense he is spouting which is just sad.

This guys is going to be a future terrorist or gunna molest some kids in a church as a priest.

  • I am quite sure that Sam would say you are the one brainwashed by so called scientists and teachers who repeat the evolution mantra.

There is probably more chance you being a future terrorist than Sam as he believes that God is Judge and that we are accountable to Him, you believe you are accountable to no one.

  • @DarkEmergence i know him personally, so does that mean i can comment in it xD he is none of the things the prior commenter said, and he never will be because he has his own morals, which are based from the bible but not exclusively.

however, as a friend, i still believe his views are utterly childish, religion should be kept away from children, as it is proven young children absorb whatever they're told when they're young, as it made survival possible pre-modern humanity.

  • When you grow up, leave your parents house and go to university to study science - then get back to us. Til then just close your mind and live in the utopia that your world view affords you.

  • Hey, we'd better start teaching astrology too.

Oh, and don't forget phrenology and fairy studies....

  • @1MacTavish2 How do you know he believes he is accountable to no one? I wouldn't hurt another person because a) I don't want to and b) I know I would also let down my family, friends, my mentors. And unlike someone who believes in morality coming solely from a god, I would refuse to murder a person if a god appeared and told me to.

  • @1MacTavish2 what sam would say is irrelevant anyway, he's clearly not sane in the head for thinking something that you have evidence for, is trumped by some book written and devised by another delusional man.

Also Sam believes only god can judge him? Yeah future murderer terrorist psychopath child molester right there. I believe any man can judge me, and there are consequences to my actions in the real world, and I guide my actions by morals which are not exclusive to religion.

  • @1MacTavish2 going by that logic, i would kill for no one, whereas sam would kill for god.

You see science doesn't claim god doesn't exist, and faith in a higher power is not the same as religion. The one thing science proves is that there is no evidence for a christian god, or any religious god for that matter, and for someone to believe religion over science is obviously deluded. Science is based on testing theories with evidence, religion is just people blindly believing in fairy tales.

  • anyway mac, do present evidence that the biblical creation story is literally true or even possibly plausible. You would be the first.

  • If you are going to teach creationism in science class you may as well start teaching demon possession in psychiatry.
