Too late for this Board, but future Board's facing a similar situation can meet the needs of their young members.
I believe the association can make an accommodation for the child under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Board could approve a special exemption based on his disability. May need a doctor to write a letter that it is medically necessary, but I believe the Board and community would be well served to make an accommodation.
