@shellbsd23 I'll let you figure it out ;) And I was just saying if Federer could be more constant or concentrated on important points like on the match points he had two years in a row at the US Open, he would have I think 3 or 4 more GS. But what's done it's done. And second of all, I don't think it's impossible for him to regain the 1 position. He has probably the best experience on court and he is getting back to that level he use to know, even though he still played really well last year.
-
@shellbsd23 I do agree with most of your argument, but I gotta correct you on two things.
Firstly, (I don't want to be a jerk this is just an argument) have you EVER seen Federer play during 2004-2007 ? Nobody could achieve his level he was so good ! In 2006-2007 he went something like 160-9 which is insane. Sure Novak might break that record and I agree, he is the best right now. But I'm sure if we would have a match between Federer 2006 and Djokovic 2011, Federer would win by far. Why ? ...

@gtcars400 looooooool, you know I would love for Federer to get his #1 spot back just so he can beat Sampras' record of 286 weeks as #1, but this is never going to happen. Why? He barely beats guys like Berdych, Tsonga, Isner in GSlams. Djokovic and Nadal however toy with these guys.. Check this out: espn(dot)go(dot)com(forwardsla
sh)tennis(forwardslash)history ..Federer can only become #1 if: 1. he wins the next 4 GS on a row
2. Rafa and Novak lose in the semis of these GSs
Good luck with that!

@gtcars400 Yeah.. so what are you saying? I am saying that Federer and Nadal are as great as they've always been. They are in their prime or maybe even better now, because they are more experienced. I am also saying they have more losses than Djokovic since the start of this season and last year too. I am saying that since 2011 Djokovic is greater than they have EVER been. Surpassing their GS records is just a matter of time (unless he quits tennis for whatever reason).
-
Federer and Nadal have like three or four loses each, and still its the start of the season !! I don't get your point, you can't determine how good a player is just by the number of his loses in the beginning of a season. And by the way, Djokovic lost to Murray in the SF of Dubai. Federer is going on a 12 streak since his loss at the AO, I bet he will regain his number one position soon enough.
-
@shellbsd23 I never said he was god in the first place! I'd like him to win the French Open as it would fully assert his dominance however this is home surface of Nadal and Rafa pushed him hard in Australian Open final. He lost last year in the Semi's to RF. I think Murray though has caught up to those three. I still don't believe he'll win a slam this year at least with Djokovic round.

Djokovic is in his best shape of his carreer till now. He will soon take over the number 1 place in the ATP-rankings as he outclassed Nadal in the 2nd and 3rd set and Federer in the SF. It is hard for me as a RF fan, but Djokovic shows amazing class and tennistyle on the court.
