NEC9 - HD Remix Singles - DSP (Akuma/Dee Jay) v Damdai (Akuma)

This was a match in the HD Remix singles at NEC9, it was the first time I'd faced anyone with a good Akuma. Damdai specifically used only Akuma in the tournament, to prove his opinion that he is overpowered and should be banned. Some interesting things in this video, including an inescapable super he does to me in the last match. Great setup!

Absolutely, but he is absolutely too powerful in HDR as well. What he lost in the range of his air hadoken and invulnerable low kicks he regained in fireball crossups and rediculous unblockable super setups. That trade is more than favorable, if you ask me.
