A mountain tree shrew (Tupaia montana) visits a pitcher of Nepenthes rajah to feed on nectar secreted by glands on the inner surface of the pitcher lid. Location: Mount Kinabalu, Borneo.

  • haha, this is pretty funny. 6 months ago i commented to this video. By now, i already own a N. Rajah (still small, wahtever), and it's growing pretty well! Slow grower, but it'll do :)

  • And now scientists believe the plant was created that way to collect dung from that rodent, rather than to catch any living creature! Could make sense.
