Whuh? Are bored, unemployed Muslim kids going to start rioting in Tokyo? Or are you referring to massive new welfare programs that the DPJ are set to unroll?
I see no real change coming from this. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss," so they say. It's just another faction who wants to tap the public till, with waves of supporters favoring "change" letting them get away with it.
Forgive me for my cynicism, but we've seen the same patterns in democracies around the world.
