Leyland Atlantean in good the Brazil.

I drove these in the 70's they were my most hated of buses, they were uncomfortable to drive and you froze to death in the winter, it was a great day when they went.
My favourite bus to drive was the Leyland national.

Wrong. British Leyland was the whole group title for the whole brands. Leyland Truck & bus was a sub division of BL

We used to get these as school buses until 2007!

British Leyland was the car part of the firm, Leyland made the commercial vehicles

Beautiful buses. Used to have these in Oz....no more double deckers. sigh.

I didn't mind driving them really, as you say very cold in winter. Nottingham City Transport looked after theirs better.so I loved driving them.
