Mirage Flyby Two

The SA Air Force Museum will be hosting the only Air Force Air Show during 2010. It will be held at Swartkop Airfield alongside Old Johannesburg Road in Valhalla, Pretoria. The theme of this Airshow is ''90 Years on Golden Wings''. The Aircraft of the Air Force Museum, including the "C-47 Dakota", celebrating 75th anniversary and othe...r vintage aircraft such as the Vampire celebrating 60th anniversary. The "90th" theme was chosen... to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the South African Air Force.

The Air Force Museum sustains its role and functions as the custodian of the history and traditions of our Air Force, by holding such fundraising events. Income from such events accrues to the SAAF Museum Building Fund, a registered welfare organisation, the objectives of which are to provide financial support to the Air Force Museum to fund the maintenance of the historic aircraft, buildings and infrastructure in Pretoria, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
