The decal on the box says, "If you have ever wanted the ultimate fuzz. Here it is. The most consistent, aggressive and fundamentally nasty pedal we have ever produced. It will destroy and retain your tone. It's a monster."

That's a pretty tall order but there's a lot to like about the Leviathan. What do you guys think?

The amp was miked with a Violet Design 'The Amethyst' condenser going to an M-Audio ProFire 610 condenser. Pro Tools 9 did the recording honors.

  • Definitely a nice demo. I liked how you have the pedal right in front of the camera so we can see the setting clearly. good job, and nice playing

  • @WuTangBoneThugs Thanks. I think I adopted that idea from Fatback, one of my video influences and all round great guy/player. Made sense to me to be able to see the interaction. It can create challenges when there's a heap of knobs to memorize, though..!

  • i love how the bridge pickup on yr guitar isn't slanted. it makes the sound so much less trebly and harsh.

  • @xPsuedo Exactly. One of the many reasons I love that guitar. :)

  • Can you recommend a fuzz for emulating bands like swervedriver and My Bloody Valentine.

  • its amazing, it can get really sexy smooth and creamy fuzz and be a badass distortion pedal too.

  • nice demo, that thing is thick and sludgy!!!

  • This pedal is sick mate!!! Gotta get one!!!

  • Great demo! they should all be like this. Good format and fantastic pedal. I got a death by adio fuzzwar which is good but i might have to get this instead.

  • @PMcG6 yes it does, which is what makes it slightly different than other fuzzes. This way it increases the flexability of the pedal to ensure you can find the sound you are after, we tried to make it versatile as well as nasty :)

  • @wampcat Cool. Mission accomplished, it seems. Thanks, Brian!

  • Great demo Burgs! Btw is this a fussy fuzz? (affected by buffers, positioning in chain)
