"The Girl" is the gorgeous French actress Isabelle Adjani. Bruce Dern's character is creepy, as usual.

I like the edginess of Dern's character. O'Neal's character feels very empty in contrast, which is to his credit.

Just saw it yesterday in german TV.

Translations are ok. It is not as famous like Bullitt but the first movie what went to the Computer game w/ the same name.

I remember the feeling of loss on Bruce's part in the end. I remember the feeling of a softening heart for the Driver. I first saw this film when i was 14. The best line of the film..."No guarantee's, Never has been" Simple perfection.

This is the first movie that I ever noticed acting style when I was a kid. To this day I remember Bruce Dern in this movie more than anything else in it aside from Ryan O'Neal. This man should have won an Oscar back in the 70's. Great Clips.
