  • This episode aired on Saturday October 20, 1973 the EXACT same night as President Nixon's infamous 'Saturday Night Massacre'.

  • @Candies1999 Women had run for president before. Shirley Chisholm for one. She was not only a woman - but a black woman. Hillary may have been the first to come close to a nomination. But the first? No.

  • The Lorenzos...the Most disliked Characters on the show...LOL

  • Ya, the good old Nixon days!

  • @TRUMP2U i agree. i hate when he or his wife are in the show. i love all in the family, but when they were casting for the lorenzos, they made a really poor choice.

  • soon would we have a [the worst president ever] would have a 1st black president and Hilary running to be the 1st lady president

  • @SeanMBryans - Thanks for the info.

  • @2012Steelerfan It couldn't have ruined it too much - Her died at 71 in a hotel in Phile, RA the morning of an opening night play Breaking Legs - After his time on AITF - he appeared on television and in other films. Garnering a Supporting Actor nomination for his role in Moonstruck. So it didn't seem to destroy his career at all. If it did any harm at all.

  • @theoceanave - Gardenia used to complain that the Frank character would ruin his career. They should have kept him as Jim Bowman.

  • @MichaelHansenFUN That's the lottery ticket episode.
