Wow. Maybe. We stayed at this house up the hill behind Petleys, rented the top floor. Our other buddies stayed in a nicer home with a courtyard and pool, the pool was really green with algae. I can't remember the names of the places we ate at but do remember The Equator. We had some great crab there. I saw The Wiz too at the outdoor theatre. We just spent most days at the beach way past the hotels, that long deserted stretch. It was great.

I lived there from 83-85. Perhaps we crossed paths. I taught at the Lamu Boys Secondary School.
The Yogurt Inn was my favorite place to relax.

I spent a month there in 83, 5 bucks a night for a room behind petleys. We had lamu for less than 100 bucks total for a month, loved every minute of it.
