CancerForward Salutes The Houston Forward Movers 2011

On October 19, 2011 during Saks Fifth Avenue Key To The Cure Kickoff 2011, CancerForward: The Foundation For Cancer Survivors saluted The Houston Forward Movers 2011, men and women who as both civic leaders and cancer survivors serve as role models to other cancer survivors seeking successful rehabilitation. The 2011 Class of Houston Forward Movers include: Former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense S. Ward Casscells, MD, Former Texas State Representative Ellen Cohen, Honorary Consul General William C. Crassas and Mrs. Joann Crassas, Rose Cullen, Michael Dale, Arvia Few, Wendy Hines, Jacqueline Martin, Mary Ann McKeithan, Rosie Meyers, Barbara Padilla, Jane Parker, Former Texas Secretary of State Jack Morris Rains, Candice Schiller and Dan Wolterman. A special honor of 2011 Flash Forward Mover was presented to Andrew C. von Eschenbach, MD, Former Director, National Cancer Institute, Former Commissioner, U.S. Food and Drug Administration and cancer survivor of 25 years.
