I'm 5'6" and it was super disappointing when I found out you have to be taller to be a model, cause I really think I'd be good at it

I catelog modeled for Kmart and JCPenny for 2 years while in college modeling mens clothing. I didn't do any of this stuff this girl is talking about. Its not that serious. Its really like any other job interview. The only difference is the photo of yourself.

@TheShortSide yeah me too! I won a modeling contest for dillard's when i was in 5th grade and since then i've been interested in things like that. let me know if you find an opportunity please :) good luck

You do NOT need professional photos to show an agent.
In fact, agents PREFER a simple digital camera shot or polaroid.
This girl is either lying or she does not know what she is talking about.
Also, modeling is a profession that chooses YOU based on your physical
stats and bone structure. You do not choose it.

This is interesting...i've thought about modeling for catalogs and many friends insist i try it out to see if i enjoy it but i dont know where to start...
