Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse

The Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse will be an interactive science + energy center for all ages. Located on the site of a historic, restored power plant on the Animas River in the heart of Durango, Colorado, the Powerhouse project will also include:

·Sudden Science: education outreach and summer camps (now open!)
·Solar Roller: mobile interactive museum and power plant (summer 08!)
·Riverfront town square and events pavilion
·Restaurant and museum shop
·Sound garden and science park
·Sustainability demo labs
·TotSpot: a world built just for 0-5 year olds
