Most railroad crossings were designed by morons. This is a trap, The driver tried to back-up and it looks like he hit a vehical behind him while doing so. He couldn't back-up anymore, so when he heard the train whistel he thought he was on the same track the train was coming, notice two tracks there, the gate was down behind him. He just wanted to get out of a bad trap. Hope he was ok.
