hardly a fair comment because Sir Roger did great for New Zealand and actually reconstructed New Zealand in the 80's. It's just a matter of opinion so don't go pasting nasty comments like that.
F**k off, Douglas, you nasty little reptile. We haven't forgotten how you and Fay and co destroyed NZ in the 80s. We were all MORE than glad to see the back of you the first time, no-one wanted you back (apart from the microscopic libertarain Nazi fringe in this country, who'd struggle to fill seats in a bus shelter), and you acheieved nothing in your second term other than to run up obscene travel bills and stab the only popular leader ACT has ever had in the back. Go to hell, you Nazi.
Well said Sir Roger! It's a great pity that the Compulsory Super Scheme you introduced 1972-75 was got rid off by Rob Muldoon, essentially by fear and bribery. Fear being those dancing cossack TV adds portraying compulsion as being the first step of communnism and bribery being the, look you don't need to put your own money in, I;ll give y ou National Super at age 60 (!) whether you're working or not. As a then young 'true blue' I fell for it, how wrong I was. best wishes!
A great speech Sir Roger, a great pity you are standing down with much work still to be done. You however, deserve a long and happy retirement and I hope you will continue you efforts on he economy from the sidelines. Well done. Garry Larsen
