@user7897 Actually the US Customs and Border patrol are by law able to set up any check point within 100miles of the US border and search as well. So they are doing their job.

@user7897 actually you are required to by federal law. choose not to, it's ultimately your choice, but they have the choice to not let you go untill they can prove your a US citizen. what would you prefer, be taken off the buss so they can properly identify you and your nationality, or just answer what your citizenship is and go on your way?
