@Cosmick357 NO that is not correct for Amsterdam. For border cities like Maastricht it is true. The new government would like to do the same to Amsterdam, but Amsterdam's Mayor does not wish to have a weedpass. It wouldn't make any sense, however there is a lot of pressure on coffeeshops at the moment and the Dutch Minister says Amsterdam will have to follow cities like Maastricht by 2013.

@TimDalyEnt Yea you can get truffles from smartshops still, its a fungus, like the size of little stones but sort of hollow inside! Dont taste great but the effects are better than mushrooms!

@sandm827 A few of our favorite coffeeshops are Paradox, Rookies, and Katsu. A couple of good bars is Cafe Begique, Arends Nest, In De Wildeman. Enjoy your time in Amsterdam.

@TimDalyEnt Mushrooms has been banned, however truffles which contain the same substance as mushrooms are available.
