I guess if the American people don't hear the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance that was forced down their throats as kids, they're shocked and appalled.

NBC doesn't have to apologize to anyone. The public needs to apologize for being such soft fruitcakes.

  • One kids cant even recite it in school because they wont even allow it in there Hardly no more, and By the way no one can prove if their is or is not a God....... Two God didn't make golf Man did. Yea you can express your own opinion but just because some christians force stuff don't mean you have to blame all christians. You have the right to believe what you want as we have the right to believe what we do. Yea I'm christian but i don't go dissing you for not believing the same as i do.

  • @MetEntertainment I'm not blaming all Christians

  • @undertakerfreak1127 I find it ironic that you so adamantly speak out against big business, yet you applaud big business' decision to edit an official pledge for our country. Bro...if you want to edit out "Under God", petition for it. Thats how it was added in the first place.

  • @PropTheGanda That's not too bright, considering I think it was a great idea. Now, if business added "one nation, under Walmart," I might be more inclined to bash them.

  • This country was founded on Christianity now its full of democrats

  • MOTHERFUCKER. I was hoping it would actually be removed.

I'm sure our Founding Fathers would be ashamed of our current pledge, especially since the "important 7" were all Atheists, Agnostics, or Deists of another faith.

  • @Defiant47 Nevermind, NBC caved and apologized for it. Pussies.

  • It's about time someone finally had the balls to ditch that stupid phrase. Never should have been in the pledge to begin with. Way to go NBC!

  • you're a dumbass.

  • wow i didn't think they would actually do that.

  • I love your hat.

  • @TheArchFan Dude, shut the fuck up. Atheists have every right to reject a pledge that rejects them. By saying "Under God" it goes against the 1st Amendment that says Congress shall make no law "respecting an establishment of religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof" . But I suppose anyone that argues with you is a preachy atheist.
