@MillionaireMatchMakr Well it is a video of my family getting me out of bed after a head on collision where I broke both of my arms and both of my legs. If you had read the description you would have known!

When I was in the rehab hospital it took 3 people to transfer me from the bed to a chair and back...one to hold my legs because I am non-weight bearing and one to push and the other to pull....lol! (continue)

(continue) When PT was teaching my mom how to do it so she could take care of me at home, my mom couldn't hold my legs AND push the Hoyer over carpeting so she made a "leash." It is a strap with a loop on each end; one to go over my leg and the other to hook on the Hoyer. Now she can do it all by herself and she is 70 years old! Gotta love that girl!

Wow. All that just to get out of bed. My thoughts are with you. How long till you can fend for yourself?

I go to the doctor on 02/26. Hopefully he will let me do more. Right now I cant put any weight on my legs until the bones are healed. When I can, the PT will work with me to learn how to transfer myself from bed to chair to shower to potty...etc. I think we are looking at March or April to walk with a walker and then May or June by myself without a limp. =) Keep your fingers crossed!
