Forestry First CAT 525B Skidder in North Carolina.

We filmed this working in North Carolina, inspecting several machines on a logging job near Tabor City. This crew uses two loaders and finds that it works really well. The CAT 525B is a recent addition to the crew within the past two years and is fairly low hour. This skidder runs great, looks great, was doing the bulk of the work on this job as the other skidder working this job was down with a busted rim (545 CAT). You will notice the skidder taking the limbs and tops away for matting so the skidders and cutters can run on the very soft ground.

@kodiakkiller316 Yeah it was no the best looking timber. I never did ask why they were in such paltry wood, but I am sure they had some good reason. With quotas on all over the South these guys have to move around a lot to keep their crews working.
