@spiderlegs1987 yes between Manhattan and Fort Lee, NJ (video from NJ side) 212 foot clearance midspan & 14 lanes of traffic on bi-level. River w swift currents but swimmable & kayakable. "East River" much more hazardous.

Out west if there's something big enough you have to hop over, it's considered a river. Wow. You guys really do have big rivers back east. Impressive.

Yeah, kinda ironic - the west has Big Sky, Big Mountains, Big Land Area, ...but the east - big rivers :) : thanx for all your insightful comments slodeth
