@TheAstros1 felt good seeing him finally win a World Series...Go Astros

@kitkatjunkie u watched a wrong hitter to compare a textbook swing to, derek jeter has a unique swing, that firm front arm is why he goes the other way with almost every pitch. Having said that Jeter is one of the best shortstops to have ever played and a great hitter but his swing is not something that you want to analyze and teach to a young hitter

@KitKatJunkie No. On contact, his back elbow should be tucked into his side, front arm with a slight bend. The power V should be extended after contact as part of the follow through. Once the V is formed, the power has left.

that could be a wallbanger

Sweet swing!

so at the moment the batter hits the ball, his arms should be stretched?
because i watched hitters like jeter, and he still has his arms bended when he hits the ball, and starts to stretch them AFTERhe hit it. But when i look at this swing, this looks better, what do you guys think?

That's right Big Puma! Show 'em how it's done! Go Astros!

One of my favorite hitters. Great swing.
for me, a die-hard yankee fan, THIS guy has the best [mechanics-oriented] swing in baseball...better than manny, better than albert, better than a-rod....such a great thing to watch.
