Hey all! Just figured out that you could keyframe 'offset' in the texture panel... so that means water!!!!! Basically this is just a bunch of premade blender textures and actually it isn't too shabby!

There was a problem with having the water actually follow the path of the mesh, so I had to unwrap the faces and set the texture type to UV, if anyone else wants to try it out.

And I also had the mesh follow a bezier curve, so I could have made the river change paths easily without destroying the mesh everytime I want to have it change direction.
