The pitch "correction" as you're calling it, doesn't illustrate that the guy can't sing. It shows his consistency. TPain uses it cause he sucks. MGMT uses it cause it sounds sweet. The dude can sing, check other live videos.

@jslebs09 I don't think they're even using autotune or anything like that. Their vocals have that effect because at least two or three of the band members are singing at once, so their vocals have a very layered effect... But I completely agree with you, that they can all sing very well, autotune or not

@wado1942 Then stop listening to the modern bullshit on the radio. The classics are music at its best. I mean don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good modern music out there, but it's not gonna be that hip hop shit. Indie Rock is how the true spirit of rock n roll is carried on through modern times.

Sorry, but I've never found autotune be anything other than obnoxious. Virtually everything on the radio anymore is autotuned. I'm SO SICK of everybody sounding like robots.

Believe me, the "experienced" ones use pitch correction now too. They just have some taste and don't over do it.
