Well, I think you kinda missed the point, though I get what you are trying to say. Toothless isn't crippled, yes, he can't fly anymore, but he can do everything else, and he is independent. When he broke the new tailfin it was his way of saying: "I want to be one with you." (Not in a pervert way, eh? xD) From the flying scenes that we saw, Hiccup and Toothless' bond is stronger and they are in perfect balance. Hiccup completes Toothless, Toothless completes Hiccup.

I was really pleasantly surprised about this one. It was funny, sweet, and overall well done. Sure, the animation wasn't on the level of the movie (I didn't expect it to be), but it was still better than I feared it would be. I actually choked up at the end. If the TV series can be this good, I'll be very pleased.

@1humans It was never broken..it probably got burned off...or it got broken then burned and the healer couldnt fix it without there being an infection. That's my guess.

i got a giftcard 4 christmas..... yet i had no idea what 2 spend it on. couldn't think of anything! so i decided to type in "how to train your dragon" in the search bar. then heaven appeared. watched the trailer, and told myself, "if i get some cheap necklace over this; im gonna kill myself."
