Loved your video. I'm a yankee, but I love my sweet tea -- and now I know the appropriate way to make it in a coffee pot!!! I especially liked your recommendation to use a wide-mouthed Ball canning jar to drink it, because it makes it tastes better. I'm absolutely sure tha you're right!!!

thank you. I just needed an easier way to brew hot tea, and the coffee maker idea is awesome. As for the sweet tea goes, it looks so good but I am afraid that is too many calories for me. Especially with all that sugar....DAMN

wow... ive made my sweet tea like this 4 years...lol the only thing i do different is i put the tea bags in the pot itself, and i use about a cup to a cup and a half... puting the bags in the pot allows the bags to stoop while it broos...
i prefure a mason jar... and not all of us are yankees... trust me, a far amount of us are hicks... then again it probebly helps that about half of my family is from the south :) happy drink'n

You know what, here in Cali I always go to Mick Ds just for the sweet tea and I tried making it the way you said and it taste exactly the same. Now I don't have to buy it I can just make it. Thanks sooo much, your instructions where really easy to follow.
