  • lol NOW they dont sell that kind of stuf so dont brag about THE ZAPPA

i mean they sell it but they sell u a shitload more of things and lifestyles not just drinking beers with ur buds now there are more things that come with thechnology or shitloads of trends that can be sold via internet or tv

  • @MrMarcialjimenez True, but Zappa never lived to see those days because he died a couple of year later in 1993. He used to talk about trends during the time he was alive and this was one of the trend's prevalent at that point of time in the late 80s early 90s.

  • I love Zappa but it seems like he's a little jealous. What's wrong with drinking beer and getting riled up?

  • @timi0000 He explains that in this interview. If you do not agree that's just fine, you are entitled to your own opnion. Although, I find this culture prevalent in a lot of countries now a days, not only US.

  • @MrGrizmint My sentiments exactly....About the individual "MrGrizmint" who has stated the comment above.

  • He's right to a great degree. There is a certain social mind-set and reaction to beer. A culture.

  • makes me want a beer

  • Again Frank is right...

I was out drinking with some old buddys and got so wasted I was blacking out, by the end of the night I refused to have a lift home, (being a macho man who can look after himself lol) I told my friend (who wasn't drinking) that its ok and that I'll walk home as I live around the corner, anyway I couldn't remember anything other than that, I was walking home and somehow got in a random fight, my phone and keys were missing and was picked up by the cops, a really shit time

  • beer will kill you if you love it too much. you have to let it go, and if it comes back probably should get a new one, cause that one might have a date rape drug in it.

  • @Fruscification Oh...The bock would be black or very very dark, not familiar with Sagres. We have some microbreweries here or companies that kind of pretend they are and they produce some beautiful looking and tasting beers. Beers to be looked at in a glass and fragrances to be enjoyed. See it's a cultural thing. I'm not looking to swill beer watching a football game anymore. I drink beer and anything else to enjoy it. I like a warm summer's day and to bask in the splendor.

  • @BillyBogartShow In Portugal the famous ones are Super Book and Sagres, they look ugly

  • @Fruscification What kind of beer are you drinking to think beer looks ugly? Budweiser, budlight, coors? Those are not beer. Those are corn sugar drinks. They belong in the section with boonesfarm.

  • @BillyBogartShow And pass outs...aside from very strong malt beers wine has a much greater chance to bring on nap time. Alcohol levels are not entirely consistent in wine either. It can double ferment and turn into vermouth or brandy or there abouts. I've drunk enough of everything to know culture plays a much more significant role. Frank was right in the beginning.

  • @BillyBogartShow Wine tends to go down much slower. It has plenty of sugars in for example a Zinfandel but it's much more pungent and can dry the lips. It's also much stronger. Once for once wine can get you drunker but beer can make you piss so much you might just get pissed off at how often you have to go. Like I said it's culture. Want to get real angry drink a bottle of whiskey. Wine will raise your blood pressure more than beer. Serve wine at a football game instead and they'll be deaths.

  • @BillyBogartShow Pretty much all american beers are made cheaply with cheap ingredients including added sugars not found in the grain. This includes all light beers especially. The yeast needs something to eat in order to fart(alcohol in beer is yeast farts). If the beer is piss yellow that means it has very little ingredients save for water and sugar and yeast. Because it's so light it's less filling and it tastes like water...so it goes down much faster.

  • Frank was thinking out loud there and trying out theories. He was right about the cultural education of various substances. At 4-5 o'clock go stand inside a liquor store in the wine section and observe all the guys walking in to get their 12 pack, 30 pack or whatever. They never go over and try wine. Wine isn't even properly cared for where I live. If that's not a deterrent the idea is cemented in people's heads that wine is for fancy dining. I wouldn't say beer necessarily makes you more angry.
