PLEASE PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING:

I managed to get this video up as one, not four. The other four will be deleted within a few days.

First of all, congratulations on embarking the "Final Degrees Of Fantasy Turbulence". Enjoy your stay. If you have come to this video with not wanting to see any spoilers, then you are a silly bean. This video is in a playlist for ease of viewing, called "Final Degrees Of Fantasy Turbulence." I recommend switching to the playlist before you begin.

Below is a description of each part of the song. For each part, there will be a Youtube annotation.
I. Overture -- This section is an introduction to Final Fantasy. It works well because it goes through many movements of music, so I believed it would do well to set the scene.
II. About To Crash -- As the lyrics are sung about a female character, I figured this section would be centered on female characters. Yes, the characters do sing the second verse. The section starts off happy and energetic, then slowly becomes darker as the characters begin to grow more troubled and in turmoil. The last scene of this part is used solely to bring it into the third part of the song.
III. The War Inside My Head -- The music gets heavier here, although I saw it as more of a prelude to the fourth part. From this idea, I chose for this part to revolve around the villain uprising. The music felt great for villains to display their dominance, particularly with destruction.
IV. The Test That Stumped Them All -- This epic, incredible paced part would hold the majority of the battles in Final Fantasy. In the choruses, I changed it up a bit, using clips that (I hope) gives a feeling of pain, confusion and dementia. The two solos were generally of the villains getting stronger, evolving, and things get ultimately tougher towards the end of this section.
V. Goodnight Kiss -- This section brings the pace down a lot, giving you time to relax and enjoy relationships/pairings. As the entire band comes in at the solo, that is where the love really blooms. Towards the end of the video, when the mood becomes dark again, the video became the trials and problematic situations that these pairings faced, with it eventually being resolved in the last 10-20 seconds.
VI. Solitary Shell -- The lyrics are now of a male person, which made sense for me to make this part dedicated to male characters. I liked it because it gave them a real positive light, as opposed to some of their darker personalities. Just a really light-hearted section, which becomes more tense towards the end, drawing their weapons and getting ready for the next section, with shots of each party too.
VII. About To Crash (Reprise) -- To recap, we have had sections learning about male and female characters, we have learnt about relationships, villains, and have had the first preliminary battles. For FF fanatics, you would know there is always a first confrontation/s before the actual final battle. So now that all those topics have been developed, the characters are now ready to go on, "The Final Journey" -- This parts topic. It includes support from each other, lots of battle with the big bosses, and a fast-paced climax at the end of the section.
VIII. Losing Time/Grand Finale -- Begun by the climatic final strikes in the boss battles, the song is then the Aftermath of all that has happened, where the characters deal with losing the ones they love, such as Zack, Aerith, Tidus, Vanille and Fang. Then after a while, the sad tone shifts to a happier one, with the characters ready to face a new day and move on.

With regards to criticism, I welcome it as always. I just ask you be very nice, calm and constructive about it. I spent 7 months making this video, as well as 3 months picturing and making a five page plan before that. I've put countless hours, days, and weekends into this. I've given it my heart and soul to make it great. I am aware there may be repeated clips in this video. But I have been extremely careful with what footage I use, repeating in a way that would not be extremely obvious and lazy, and where I have used the same scene, I would have had reason, likely because it was perfect for the scene. When looking at the video myself, for 42 minutes, I have done well to repeat a minimal amount of scenes. I would prefer you to talk about ideas I could have used, such as footage, effects or transitions, rather than pointing out really small mistakes. I can see my mistakes believe it or not. The artifacted/pixelated Advent Children/On The Way To A Smile scenes could not be helped. If you do believe there is something legitimately missing, such as a montage clip, something masked, or anything that might have disappeared due to rendering, feel free to say so. It has happened to me before.

If you have read all of this, you have my sincere thanks. Enjoy the video, and I hope it takes you on a fun journey.

  • All in one now, I'm wondering if anyone can watch all it at once. Very good work, this video is really awesome.

  • Truly amazing bro. Its really worth the effort you must have put in. AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • @ShadowedArcane /cont/ Pixelation on the OVA clips wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, and the different art style was a nice change.

I'm not a big fan on the Infrared effect, mainly because it can look awful when abused, but you used it very nicely here.

Definitely /the/ most creative ending I have ever seen for an amv.

All in all, you deserve a big round of applause. :) Clap, clap, clap.

  • @ShadowedArcane VII - VIII;

I was very pleased at how you didn't just use flashes for the beats, but other things too like blurs and scene changes. I also loved the black fades.

04:11 - 04:13 was a great use of masking and was very well done.

The overlays throughout all parts was very nice and put a clean feel to the video.

  • @ShadowedArcane V - VI

Once again, I am at awe by your use of effects and never-ending creativity. This part is definitely one of my favourites, mainly for it's very smooth flow throughout.

The fireworks at 02:04 put a smile to my face, so cudos for that.

I was pleasantly surprised to see blurring on beats at 04:43 - 05:38. My favourite effect, for sure.

The different clips appearing over the scene at 06:08 through to 06:17 was executed flawlessly.

    11:14 was perfect. 'Nuff said.
