Friend or Faux: Antarctica 48hr Film Making

Short film made for the 2009 Winter International Film Festival of Antarctica.
This was an entry in the 48 hour film making competition section.

We had one weekend to make a film that included all of the following items:
-A comedy head piece
-The Character of a temperamental Continental Chef
-The Line of dialogue "Do you want to buy a dog?"
-A roll of toilet paper
-The sound of a can opening

Wow.. Tribbles actually originated in Antarctica.

I wanna know how other entries into this contest dealt with the "wanna buy a dog?" question. how would I find the other contestant videos?

I would love to spend a sunless Winter in Antarctica. where do you sign up?

More importantly, do they allow booze at McMurdo? If I were spending a winter, it might be vital (don't make me go to the Russian station!)

There are a couple of fully stocked bars at McMurdo, but you can only buy beer or wine to drink outside the bars.

Also, would you know if tourists are allowed to visit the facility for any length of time? Or, could I pay ("donate") my way into a winters stay at this particular base? I think a stay at a Russian facility could be a payment away... Just wondering if the main American base would accommodate a "pay to play" guest.

Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything... I hope my questions aren't taken as bad form or anything. Thanks for listening..

@crowTnelson1 Tourists only get to visit if the cruise ships can make it that far south through the seasonal ice. We will show them around the base, give the a guided tour, then send them on their way. No staying overnight.

Is it really possible to say "Friend or Faux"? I know the French term, I only know "Friend or Foe" though.
