  • How do they keep the engine clean?

  • With elbow grease and cloths. It will remain in photographic grey for one season and then be paInted black which is eminently more practical for a steam loco.

  • also how long is this track?

  • By the end of 2009 the of the completed Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways will be about 40 miles long.

  • what's the gauge?

  • Not too sure about the colour. "Purple Moose Racing" would be a more appropriate livery for that engine crew.

  • The ghoast lives !!!!!! lovely shot against a double fairley. I assume Jon Whalley CME was slowing her on the reverser for testing purposes

  • A marvellous taste of what we can expect to see from this year onwards; what a sight this will be crossing Snowdon Street and through the town linkway! 5*
