Here is the Upper Darby Fire Dept arriving at and operating on the fireground at 301 Lincoln Ave in Drexel Hill, PA on December 25th, 2011. Fireboard advised on dispatch that Upper Darby Police were on location with a working fire. Arriving units went into service with multiple handlines as they faced heavy smoke and fire conditions on the firt floor at the A/B corner. The fire spread through the pipe chase to the second floor, as well as to the roof of an attached garage. Primary and secondary searches came up negative, and no injuries were reported. Crews operated on the scene for approximately two hours to douse hot spots and perform overhaul duties.
The initial attack is missed because I dropped the camera so that I could handjack a line to the hydrant. The rest of the video is shaky because I kept moving around to try and help where I could with stretching handlines and such. Great job by all on the scene, as well as Fireboard.
