Let me tell you something about being a "real" Indian. I am a mixed-blood Native; Shawnee/Seneca and white. My Native blood comes from two adoptions --my birth parents are very much alive. These adoptions were from Elders that saw Native blood in me. And I am very PROUD of my mixed bloodline.
