At 0:42 - Thanks for messing with my zero jackhole!

@101327 The reason that the Honour Guard has no stripes is deliberate, the tomb guards never wear their rank while on duty, this is so ensure that the Guard will NEVER out-rank The Unknowns, As far as I know rank isn't an issue for Honour Guards, but then again you'll never see a Colonel standing guard haha

Sweeeeeeeet!

Most impressive piece of drill i have ever seen, much respect to us armed forces.

@726clayland Well, an honourable memorial of those unknowns that passed away would be different from my point of view. The best of the best can also be checked out of sight; in my opinion this distracts from those who really matter; the unknowns. But then again, who am I to say what the US armed forces can or can't do; honour takes on many shapes and sizes and from Honor Guard interviews I honestly believe that the they have the utmost respect and dignity for those who fell.

@101327 Sentinels are usually at private, and don't wear their grade so that no Sentinel out ranks the Unknown
-
@dlseth2 The inspection is so that the oncoming Sentinel's uniform is perfect so that the Unknown Soldier is not disrespected by not having the best guard him. The rifle is inspected to insure that it is clean, for the same reason HONOR.

@washintan they don't, each of the personnel takes exemplary care of their uniform, and in the sentinel's case, their rifle
This ceremony illustrates the beauty of absolute precision.

an honor guard preforms the final honors for a fallen soldier and they do preform in funerals.
