  • @debaser22078- Science- like civil engineering for better sanitation, water quality, plumbing & refrigeration? Well yes- contributed to quality of life against disease a whole lot more that medicine & Pharmakeia poison drugs. Like Coumadin warfarin that is rat poison. Killed Eisenhower. Or garasil vax that is destroying the lives of many young girls today.

  • @debaser22078- How long does the average doctor in USA live to? Dr Joel Wallach in his book "Dead Doctors Don't Lie" reports the average is 57 years! There are many people in 3rd world countries that have no hospitals, doctors or drugs that live much longer average lives than that! Should not doctors in USA know, practice & afford good health? Are these results what you are trying to sell me debaser22078? Well I & many others R not buying this snake oil thank you!

  • @debaser22078- Fact not theory> USA spends more money on health than nearly the whole world combined yet 3rd world countries rate higher health standards in many areas. Science. Like "bloodletting" that western medicine did for 2,000 years? Musta been been peer reviewed, tested & approved by modern science, huh. One day soon the poisonous vax shots will go the same way as bloodletting. Snake oil salesman? Read about criminal pervert Salk & his polio vax recipe U'd think snake oil.

  • @debaser22078

A lot of the times, counter arguments aren't even considered. Scientific journals, peer reviews and careful experimentation can't be bypassed by the pseudo-sciences oh a whim.

Oh yeah, you can thank scientists and their discoveries for allowing you to live twice a mundane existence than your relatives from the 1900's.

What an idiot response. People like you debase the sciences and paint researchers in a conspiracy theory as if they are ALL in on some conspiracy plan. The sciences and the meticulous practitioner's of it have done more to advance mankind than any snake oil medicine or pseudo-science you folks tend to believe so quickly.

  • Hippocratic oath= I swear by Apollo the healer & take witness to all other gods that I will NEVER EVER hurt anyone in practice of medicine.. Now- where's the baby in 4 healthy baby visit? Hush little baby, don't U cry, Doc's gona inject U with formaldehyde. If that poison don't keep U sick, Doc's gona try another trick.. (Also includes aborted fetal tissue & aluminum in witch's brew) English word "Pharmacy" comes from Greek Pharmakeia means witchcraft, poison, sorcery. Things still remain same.

  • While looking at this lovely kid, I feel every parent choosing an autism treatment for his/her child is advised to select only those interventions deemed "evidence-based."

While completing the research phase of my M. Ed. dissertation with respect to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), I addressed the subject of ABA being "evidence-based." If you want to know more about the peer reviews of Lovaas's seminal 1987 study, read my article: search in Google: "ABA study not evidence-based articlesbase"

  • wow, from game to quick little moment of intense focus, back to game. Great stuff!

  • Some are missing a key point here: This is a child with AUTISM. Not all people with autism ARE the same. If they are not the same , then teaching & learning is going 2 be different as well. Rewards depend on where the person is & what gets their attention. It's also import 2 remember what the goal of d session is. Is it really 2 teach him what's on the cards, or is it 2 get his attention r 2 get some kind of interaction with her? Is the goal 2 just get him to interact 4 x amt of time?

  • An example of everything that's wrong with autism treatment. Decontextualized, adult-directed, and irrelevant. Teach the kid what a shovel is (using DTT) during sand play. Teach him what the shovel does, the shovel's color, use various shovels, make him ask for it (so he can use it; natural reinforcement of the communicative exchange). Naturalistic use of ABA requires extensive planning and expertise in education as well as behaviorism. Too many folks choose easy instruction, like this clip.
