After the change of ends, Pam Shriver interviewed the Serbian fans who Jankovic gave the racquet to. They said they didn't know why she gave them the racquet because the racquet was in good condition but they were glad to get it, they hoped it would be good luck.
She still lost the match in three sets though lol!

Well to be fair to the commentators, this was a feed from Dubai Sports - it was from the Tennis channel so they would have been eating during the changeovers and Tennis channel were showing adverts. The commentators didn't know Dubai sports were covering them eating.
